Canned Food Drive- ONE WEEK LEFT!!

Our annual Canned Food Drive runs through Friday, December 13th! The drive will be benefiting the OUR Center, here in Longmont. Our goal is to collect non-perishable food items, hygiene items, and toiletries to help stock their community market. Last year, we collected 3,705 items. Our school goal this year is 3,800 items!

SCLA Ugly Sweater Run
Hello from Silver Creek High School! On Saturday, December 7th at 10:00am, we are hosting an Ugly Sweater One Mile Fun Run. You are invited to join us with your whole family, including your dog. There will be food and drinks, sweepstakes prizes, music, and race awards! We hope to see you there. And don’t forget to wear your ugliest holiday sweater. Use this link to sign up!

(3) Dec.1-15 is enrollment for our 2 special programs: (1) Silver Creek Leadership Academy and (2) RaptorTECH, a Cybersecurity PTECH.

Dawson Summer Initiative (DSI) offers a free summer academic program that follows a thematic approach and is geared for high-achieving, independent students who are currently in Grade 6 and Grade 7.
Over the past several summers, scholars have enjoyed working with students from Altona and over 30 different schools predominantly in the St. Vrain, Boulder Valley, and Adams 12 School Districts. The program is geared toward high academic achievers who are effective collaborators. They are seeking students who would benefit from an opportunity to work with peers from other schools, sharing like-minded goals.
