Altona’s Fall Parent/Teacher Conference Info

Altona Parents & Guardians:

Our 2020 Fall Conferences are quickly approaching!  These conferences will be held virtually through Webex on Tuesday, October 27th, Thursday, October 29th, and Wednesday, November 4th.  All of our conference dates will run from 4:00 to 8:30 pm each evening. Each meeting slot is scheduled for 15 minutes.  No conferences will be held from 6:00 – 6:30 as teachers will have this time for a dinner break.

Although the conferences will be scheduled through the Meet the Teacher program, teachers will be hosting their conferences in their personal rooms on Webex.  The best and easiest way to attend the conference is on your student’s iPad as they can get into WebEx really easily.  If you will not be using the iPad, you will need to download and install the Webex application on a device, click on this link, and use your student’s email and password to sign in. Once you are logged in, you can join a teacher’s personal room using these codes and you will be placed into a “waiting room” until you are admitted by the teacher.

We are strongly encouraging students to attend these virtual conferences with parents and/or guardians to help navigate the technology and to be an active participant in the meetings.

The conference scheduler will open on Monday, October 19th at 8:00 am and will close on Sunday, October 25th at 11:59 pm. Click the following link (on or after 10/19 at 8 am) to schedule your conferences:  https://altona.meettheteacher.com

If you have any questions about how to book your appointment slots, please refer to this parent guide on booking appointments.  Also, you can refer to our Parent/Teacher Facts and Tips sheet to help answer some common questions as well.

If you have any questions or need assistance with scheduling, please contact the main office at 720-494-3980.

Thank you,

Altona Middle School
