For the fifth year in a row, Altona’s MATHCOUNTS team will be representing the Boulder Chapter at the State competition in March. These students out-performed fourteen other middle school teams in the Boulder area in solving complex, non-routine math and logic problems to advance to the state level where they will face the other top competitors in Colorado. The students advancing are Nina Ning, Colin Ferry, Sophia Zhai, Diana Grigore, and Jeffrey Hew.
