OUR Center Canned Food Drive
We are in our final push with just 6 days left to donate and we are half way to our goal.
Our goal is to collect non-perishable food items, hygiene items, and toiletries to help stock their community market. Last year, we collected 4,562 items. Our school goal this year is 5,000 items! Click on the button below to see a list of items that are needed the most.
Altona Holiday Staff Treats- 12/18/2025
Help us spread some holiday cheer! We’re putting together a staff appreciation treat event for our amazing Altona team, and we’d love your help. Whether you’re baking a family favorite or donating a store-bought goodie, every contribution makes a difference. Sign up here to help us spoil our staff before winter break. There are slots for treat preparation as well as helping collect the items or assisting with the event.

Greetings Rattler Families,
The Art Department will be hosting a Winter Art Show Potluck in the Den on Thursday, December 11th, 2025 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Come eat, share some food, and view some amazing student artwork! You may drop off food with Ms. Cook or in the front office during that week if you are participating in the potluck portion. Altona will provide some cheese and cracker trays as well as bowls, plates, cups, and utensils. We appreciate any and all support in making this event special!
Those that wish to submit artwork for the show should email or talk to Ms. Cook ([email protected]) by Friday, December 5th, 2025. Even if your child isn’t currently in an Art class, all submissions are welcome!

Course Request Instructions:
REQUEST FOR 2026/27 CETC CLASSES DECEMBER 3 -FEBRUARY 3.
1. Log into the Infinite Campus Student Portal at
ic.svvsd.org/campus/stvrain.jsp
2. Select the Academic Planning dropdown at left; click ‘Next’
3. Scroll down to ‘Practical Arts’ heading towards the bottom of the page
4. Select the text box for the upcoming school-year
5. Enter the CETC course name(s) or number(s) you are requesting
6. Select the course(s) you wish to request by clicking on the name
7. If you’d like to select an alternate choice, enter your choice(s) in the
bottom row labeled “alternates”
8. Click the “save” icon in the top left of the page to save requests.
NOTE: For year-long courses both A & B sections should be selected.
