Halloween Costumes will be allowed on Thursday, October 31st.
Costume Guidelines:
-Costumes cannot create a distraction or disruption at the school, as safety is always our top priority.
-Staff must be able to recognize students; therefore, students may not wear full face masks (or anything that covers the entire face), sunglasses, fake blood, excessive face paint, and no excessive guts & gore.
-Weapons (real or facsimile) are not allowed.
-Dress code appropriate

Fall Social
When: Friday, November 1st
Time: 4:00pm – 5:30pm
*Tickets are $5 and will be sold during lunches the week of 10/28; and at the door on Friday, November 1st.
*Optional-students may wear a Halloween costume to the social only on 11/1. We will allow for students to change into a costume after school and will accept student entrance to the social until 4:20p.m.

Coding Clubs
Two different coding clubs are open starting in November: Gaming: Minecraft on Monday afternoons (3:45-4:45) and Girls Coding Club Wednesday mornings (7:15-8:10), both end early March. All coding abilities are welcome. For more information click here or to sign up click here.

Are you looking to support families of students with characteristics of dyslexia to grow their understanding of the Power of Self-Advocacy?
Join us at this workshop-style presentation on October 24th at 5:30 pm. Students who attend this event will learn how to develop a tool to support and communicate their needs.

Do you know of parents who would benefit from learning more about the needs of students with dyslexia? Invite them to this Dyslexia 101 presentation on October 30th at 5:00 pm. While parents learn together, students have an opportunity to connect with fellow students with similar learning differences and have fun!
