Between the Pages: A Book Drive for a Worthy Cause!
Join us in supporting a heartwarming initiative by the Silver Creek Leadership Academy – “Between the Pages.” Our capstone project is dedicated to collecting new or lightly used books, at a beginner to intermediate reading level, for a free book fair at a local Title l elementary school. Our mission is to spread the joy of reading and provide access to books for all children, regardless of their background.
How can you contribute?
Bring your contributions to the collection bins at Altona Middle School, conveniently located in the front office. If you have any new or gently used books at a beginning or intermediate level that are waiting to find a new home and make a positive impact, send them with your child to school. Let’s come together as a community to make a difference and cultivate the love for reading among young minds.
Why support Between the Pages?
Foster a love for reading in children.
Provide access to books for those in need.
Strengthen our sense of community through shared generosity
Your support can make a significant difference in shaping a brighter future for these young readers. Let’s make “Between the Pages” a success and spread the joy of reading far and wide! Thank you for being a part of this meaningful journey.
