6th Annual Code Zone Challenge
On behalf of the SVVSD Innovation Center, the Cyber Tech Team is excited to invite your school to participate in the 6th Annual CodeZone Challenge, a middle school Python coding competition designed to expand coding opportunities for students across St. Vrain Valley.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the SVVSD Innovation Center. Our goal is to provide students of all backgrounds and experience levels with a fun, engaging, and memorable learning experience.
The CodeZone Challenge features two competition divisions:
- Novice Division – for students new to Python
- Advanced Division – for students with more Python experience
Students will compete in teams of 2–4 students from the same school and may choose both their teammates and division.
During the competition, each team will work through approximately 25 Python-based problems, with difficulty varying by division. Teams earn points for each correctly solved problem, and the team with the highest score in each division will win a trophy and medals. Second-place teams will also receive medals. If interested please complete this form. Mrs. Basile, [email protected], will help create teams based on student ability by March 9th.
