Altona Middle School and Flagstaff Academy recognized as 2025 Colorado Trailblazer Schools to Watch
TRACK REGISTRATION CLOSES ON SUNDAY AT MIDNIGHT. LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.
Track registration starts Monday, Feb 24 and closes Sunday, March 9. Practice will begin on Monday, March 10. Practice is every day after school until 5:15pm. Starting March 31st, meets will be every Monday. Each meet we will take 70 athletes, 8th graders (who meet the practice requirement) will have first priority, we will fill any remaining spots with rotating 7th graded groups. 6th graders will compete at our intramural meet, our home meet, and 6th grade districts. There is a mandatory parent meeting immediately following practice on Monday, March 10, in the Altona gym at 5:20pm.

Altona Robotics Drone Show
Please join us on Friday, March 7th! The drone show will start at 7:30 p.m. Please sit on Altona’s north field.
The robotics leadership team has worked all season hosting tournaments across the district and now are able to share their expertise at the state tournaments. The SVVSD Drone Performance team has created custom drone animations specifically designed to celebrate the world of robotics.

Young RYLA for 7th-grade Students in Longmont Schools YRYLA is a leadership training program sponsored by Rotary International that promotes, encourages, and rewards emerging young leaders. Young RYLA is an all-expenses paid, five-day, overnight conference that brings together youth from Northern Colorado and Wyoming to share ideas about becoming better leaders. It offers an action-
packed program of activities that helps build confidence and leadership skills, such as problem-solving games, challenge course, zip line, skits, group discussions, and team-building activities.
